Our rates are on the website rather than quoted on the doorstep. You pay for the time we are on site, charged by the half hour, with no call-out fee and no premium for an emergency.

Pricing, answered plainly
Is there a call-out fee?
No. You pay for the time we are on site, charged from the moment we start work, with a half-hour minimum. There is no separate charge for turning up and no charge at all for advice over the phone.
Do you charge extra for an emergency?
No. The rate depends only on the time of day, and those three rates are published above. A burst pipe at 2am costs the same per hour as planned work at 2am.
How long will the survey take, and what will it actually cost?
Most domestic leaks are located within one to three hours, so a typical weekday survey lands between roughly £110 and £330 plus VAT. Large properties, commercial sites and leaks with several possible sources take longer. We tell you on site as soon as we can see how the job is going rather than letting the clock quietly run.
Will my insurance pay for it?
Usually. Trace and access cover in a buildings policy pays for locating the leak and for the damage caused by getting to it, with limits commonly between five and fifteen thousand pounds. We invoice so the cost can be submitted with your claim.
Is the repair included in the hourly rate?
If we can repair it there and then, the work simply continues at the same hourly rate — there is no separate call-out or mobilisation charge. Anything larger, such as excavation, screed removal or roof work, is quoted at a fixed price before we start.
Is drying the property out included?
No. Finding the leak stops the water; it does not dry the building. Structural drying, dehumidifiers and putting right what the water damaged are a separate piece of work, quoted per job once the leak is fixed and we can measure how far the water has travelled. Often none of it is needed, and we will tell you so. Where it is, drying is normally recoverable on an escape of water claim.
Do you charge for parking, congestion or ULEZ?
Congestion Charge, ULEZ and paid parking are passed on at cost where they apply, and we will tell you before we book if your address falls inside one. There is no mark-up on them.
